Earrings to wear after you’ve inherited a farm from your grandfather

Whether it’s your 1st or 10th or 100th time in Pelican Town we can all agree that this cozy game has made an impact on our lives. It has inspired other games and it certainly has inspired us.

  1. Most of the farms you can choose from give you a choice of a house that you need to fix up, land you need to clear, some basic tools to upgrade, and one gift from the mayor. Perhaps the only useful thing he does is give you some seeds to start out with. And if you’re many hours in, (don’t worry we can’t judge), you might have forgotten what they were. To commemorate your first crop in the valley we made these Parsnip Dangle earrings.

  1. Another big event in the game happens one morning when you go to leave your home. Marnie tells you that she has found an animal and asks you if you want to adopt it. Now, you as a player get to choose the appearance of this pet before you start, and there are a handful of different cats or dogs to choose from. Try these classics: the Gray Cat and the Brown Dog.

  1. While playing the game you know that time is very important. Needing to wait until shops are open to buy something, open geodes, and upgrade tools, or challenging fate running home before you pass out. Speed is an important and helpful factor. Playing since 1.6 introduces books to help you speed up, but older players remember the struggle of getting the mine carts to fast travel or buying a horse. We wanted to appreciate our dear companion the Horse by making them into earrings. You might not be able to put a hat on this horse but you can wear them with you wherever you go.

  1. Since this is a farming sim, we wanted to highlight a couple more interesting crops in the game. If you’ve played, you know around the middle of spring there is the egg festival. Most people remember this as the time to try and defeat Abigail in the egg hunt. While that is the most important part, the other worthwhile factor is being able to buy Strawberries. However, you can buy our Strawberry Earrings whenever you’d like.

  1. Following the seasons in game the next you experience is Summer. One of the best crops to grow during summer are blueberries. These will grow and continue to produce fruit for the entire month. We made Blueberry Seed earrings that show the pouch you can buy in game, and if you buy the stud option the pouch dangles from a cute little blueberry.

  1. Another fun summer crop is the Melon. We love melons because of the rare, but BIG surprise you can get.. If you know, you know, but if you don’t want it spoiled I would skip to number 7. The melon is one of the few crops that have the chance to become a giant crop. It’s the only one I’ve been able to get, but hopefully you’ve been more lucky.

  1. Continuing with summer crops this one comes to us all the way from the desert. Once you fix the bus, Pam will drive you to Calico Desert and you can talk to Sandy who works at the Oasis. You can buy a handful of things here, including Starfruit seeds. We couldn’t resist making these in a pixelated style. We also made the Cactus Fruit that you can forage in the desert in the same style.

  1. The last important crop we’ve turned into earrings would be the Ancient Fruit. You need the seed for the museum and after you’ve donated that, you gain the recipe to grow them. Any late stage player will know, especially if you are aiming for perfection, that you grow so so so many of these and turn them into wine in order to make good money.

  1. Moving on from important crops to important objects. One of THE most important objects in the game is the Prismatic Shard. It is a rare find, but it is so useful. It helps you get a powerful weapon, enchant tools, complete the museum, level up your relationships, and turn other objects “prismatic” 🌈.

  1. After seeing Shane’s 8 heart event, perhaps getting there by gifting him a prismatic shard, you get the ability to buy something cool. There is a chance after this event any chicken you buy from Marnie can be a Blue Chicken. While there really isn’t a difference mechanically, don’t you want to stand out from other farmers by having a blue chicken on your farm or as jewelry?

  1. If you have a heart, when you play the game you try to help fix the community center. To do this you gather different items from throughout the valley and when you do the Keepers of the Forest reward you. The Keepers are called Junimo and they can come in a variety of colors. We have mimicked this with our different styles. Our original Junimo Stud Pack comes in 4 basic colors. But we also have a Pastel Stud Pack, pixel styled Junimo Dangles, Junimo Virtual Pets, and as a nod to ConcernedApe’s future game Chocolate Junimo Studs

  1. Last but not least, in order to get more energy in the game you need to find and eat a fruit known as a Stardrop. Unfortunately, you can’t grow these yourself. You must complete various tasks or solve different riddles to find a stardrop. Like our junimos we have made a few different versions of Stardrop earrings. The original Stardrop Dangle, Pink Stardrops that we made for Valentine’s day, Orange Stardrops made for Halloween, Minimalist Stardrops, Chocolate Stardrops for the other game, we even created a Sword based on the Stardrop, and lastly we made Stardrop Tea before it was even in the game.
